Job Overview

S&K Truck Repair and Wash in Wagner, South Dakota is looking for a motivated Entry-Level Diesel Technician to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone starting their diesel career and looking to gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced technicians in a professional, well-equipped shop.

Responsibilities

Assist with diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, trucks, and equipment
Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, and inspections
Use diagnostic tools and follow established repair procedures
Inspect vehicles and document findings with accuracy
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Document repairs and communicate findings with the team
Collaborate with team members and maintain strong communication with service staff

Qualifications

Diesel technology schooling or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
Basic understanding of diesel systems
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Attention to detail and reliability
Valid driver’s license
Certifications (ASE, OEM, or equivalent) are a bonus
